Writing & Photography
Jason is the author of Photographing Eden (Ohio UP, 2008), winner of the Hollis Summers Prize, and two chapbooks of poetry, How to Paint the Savior Dead (Kent State UP, 2007), winner of the Wick Chapbook Award, and Adam & Eve Go to the Zoo (Dream Horse, 2003). His poems and reviews have appeared in Poetry, The Kenyon Review, The Missouri Review, Image, and elsewhere. He has been awarded an Individual Artist Award from the Maryland State Arts Council and a Tennessee Williams Scholarship from the Sewanee Writers’ Conference. He has served as Associate Poetry Editor of The Journal and Assistant Editor of The Writer’s Chronicle, and is also the proprietor of the poetry review blog, Line Art. He is now the Journals Manager for The Ohio State University Press.
